This year’s conference begins with keynote speaker, Dr. A. Blanton (Blan) Godfrey, Dean of the College of Textiles at NCSU. Prior to joining NCSU on July 1, 2000, Blan was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Juran Institute, Inc. After Dr. Godfrey’s presentation, conference attendees have the choice of a variety of topics that are arranged in technology and behavioral tracks. On Saturday, May 10th, ASME Eastern North Carolina Section will hold a short course on an introduction to Design of Experiments (DOE). Ted Karr, an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, will be coming to teach about the power of using DOE. (Register Online)
