RUs for Raleigh 1113 Members
Just a reminder that points (RUs) can be awarded for serving in a volunteer capacity within the section. The Raleigh Section has several committees that can use a leader or a committee member. Usually those volunteer positions receive 1.5 RUs per year for serving as the position/committee leader or committee member.
In addition to the RUs, members also gain networking opportunities, resume building experience, as well as the satisfaction that comes with volunteering.
When you get a chance, review the committees and leadership positions available in our section. Contact any of the officers with any questions you may have regarding your responsibilities and role expectations.
If there is not a position / committee listed and you have an idea for one, let us know and we will see if can be added.
One of our goals in the section is to have as much member participation as possible. Earning RUs as a volunteer is one of the best ways to participate.
