The ASQ Raleigh chapter wants to encourage students to seek quality concepts, technology, and tools to improve the workplace, products, and themselves. To support that goal, the Raleigh chapter is providing a scholarship of $500 for the Spring 2013 semester to an individual enrolled in an accredited university or college. Up to three scholarships will be selected, based on the opinion of the selection committee as to who best fulfills the acceptance criteria.
The applicant must be enrolled in a course of study that is applicable to the Quality Community at an accredited degree granting institution and have at least 3.0 GPA (based on a 4.0 scale). The applicant must either be a member of the Raleigh chapter, or be sponsored by a member of the Raleigh chapter. This is open to both undergraduate and graduate students. The scholarship award monies must be utilized toward tuition, books, and associated fees at an accredited college or university.
