Presentation:  ASQ’s groundbreaking Global State of Quality Research – the first ever comprehensive view on the current state of quality worldwide – creates a baseline of fundamental quality practices around the world and provides a practical guide for businesses to improve organizational performance. This presentation will highlight key findings from the qualitative data and will share deeper insights throughout the examination process.

Based on nearly 18 months of research across 22 countries, ASQ’s Global State of Quality Research will allow organizations worldwide to identify quality gaps and make informed decisions about instilling quality throughout the organization. Insights of the research will help organizations differentiate and continuously improve products, operations, services and experiences; leverage the perspective of customers; and align leadership and culture.

Presenter:   Laurel Nelson-Rowe has nearly 30 years of experience in executive management, association management, marketing, editorial, publishing, and business development. In May 2003, Nelson-Rowe joined ASQ as managing director to lead the organization’s membership and brand reinvention initiatives, among others. She has served at Greenspun Media Group, Las Vegas, as Internet media vice-president, and worked for CMP Media/United Business Media, Perot Systems, and United Airlines in marketing, publishing, Internet media, conference, business reporting, and editorial management roles. Among other business ventures, she was publisher of tele.com, editor in chief of CommunicationsWeek, led the debut, marketing, research, and conferences of InternetWeek, and founded the Networked Economy conference.
