Speaker Background: Apryl Major is the Compliance Quality Manager for United Technologies Aerospace Systems in Wilson, NC since 2009 and previously worked 20 years in the automotive industry, including 8 years at Ford Motor Company. She holds B.S. and M.S. Engineering degrees from the University of Michigan along with a business certificate from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She has been a Certified Quality Engineer with ASQ since 1988, trained under Dorian Shainin in the Red X process, and has an SSBB from the University of Milwaukee-Wisconsin.
