Presenters:  Maxine Terry

Topic:   Quality and Continuous Improvement Efforts within Managed Care Entities

Presentation Summary:  Managed Care Organizations continue to be challenged to do more with less while expected to provide quality oversight to Healthcare Providers within a complicated Medicaid system. The good news is that there’s much that can be accomplished by building on existing strengths and instilling new confidence with continuous improvement efforts without compromising quality oversight which includes launching a bold strategy- strategy communication equals strategic implementation. This presentation will cover the challenges and the journey of Managed Care Entities and will focus on the need for continuous improvement within a rapidly changing Medicaid system of care.
