When projects require the involvement of team players from other countries, the possibility of misunderstandings can have a negative impact on the quality, timeline, scope, and budget of the project.

Variation associated with multiple languages, different cultures, and physically separated team players, creates additional levels of complexity, increasing risk for the project.

This seminar clarifies questions surrounding language, culture, and distance with a mindset that allows lean-quality professionals to grasp these subjects and address them with their current skillset.

Learning objectives:

  1. Grasp the origin of each of the three factors and how they influence projects.
  2. Understand specific phases in the project where these factors are critical.
  3. Learn how to approach these sources of variation and establish controls.
  4. Recognize potential preventive actions Add description of workshop.

After this half-day seminar, participants will will be prepared to reduce waste and misunderstandings that occur in International Projects.
